| Shrinath is a co-founder of Excelfore and brings with him a rich experience in global management of technology companies. Prior to Excelfore, he was the CEO of MARGI Systems, which became the Multimedia division of Harman Becker Automotive Systems. Harman is a leading provider of consumer audio and automotive infotainment products with its brands including JBL, Harman Kardon, Mark Levinson. In 1994 Shrinath co-founded MARGI Systems, which has been credited with several market firsts in the field of mobile multimedia: MPEG-to-Go the first MPEG-1 Video playback on notebooks, DVD-to-Go, the first DVD playback on notebooks, and Presenter-to-Go, the first full-resolution presentation system for handheld's. MARGI's customer list includes Fujifilm, Fujitsu, Acer, Pioneer, Dell, Gateway, Hewlett-Packard, Harman, Siemens, and Bosch. Prior to co-founding MARGI Systems, Shrinath worked at Integrated Systems (Windriver), Microsoft, and Sonalysts. He has an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters in Systems Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in India. |

| Shrikant is a co-founder of Excelfore and has over 25 years of business and video technology experience. Prior to Excelfore, Shrikant Acharya co-founded MARGI in 1994 and as its President & Chief Technology Officer he provided overall direction for the technology and product creation strategy. He was primarily responsible for establishing strategic relationships with technology partners and OEM customers. After the acquisition of MARGI by Harman, Shrikant managed the delivery of automotive head unit projects for German Automotive OEMs and managed the growth of the patent portfolio from the initial application to the final grant. He also was instrumental in the establishment of multi-city software development centers in India. Shrikant has twenty-five years of experience in the design and development of algorithms for Image Processing, DSP applications and VLSI design. He served as the Secretary to the ANSI X3L3 Standards Committee on picture coding for JPEG, JBIG and MPEG standards. His previous experience includes work on 56Kbit telconferencing systems at Widergren Communications, high speed communication chips at Cirrus Logic, and design and development of still image compressions systems at Telephoto Communications. He holds several patents in the areas of handheld devices and wireless presentation technologies. After completing his Bachelor's degree from BITS, Pilani, India, he earned his MSEE from the University of Texas at Arlington. |
